One of my favourite passtimes is "urban exploration" or "recreational trespassing". Here are some shots from recent excursions for your consideration:

I disagree with that personally, the colors in these photos give them their snap. If you weren't getting the color out of it, I'd say go black and white to get your tonal range, but with these everything is already there. It's easy to connect the old and worn with black and white toning, so I love it when people steer away from the usual and do something a little bit different. I'd love to get in there and take a crack at it myself.

i disagree too. the colour is needed here - perhaps the bottom image could be black and white but i don't think it would add anything to the image.

I think they would work B&W and they obviously work in colour, what ever floats your boat. I think this is because the composition is so strong (in 1,2 and 3 anyway).
