sudden thumbnail problem

all my thumbnails have worked fine up to now, like everything else with PP, but for some reason my latest photo post is acting differently... i'm getting the blue Qmark for the thumbnail, and these warnings:

*Warning: getimagesize(../images/20051129160140_donavonscollection.001_crop.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /webroot/c/t/ctfot001/www/fotoblog/admin/index.php on line 735
*Warning: filesize(): Stat failed for ../images/20051129160140_donavonscollection.001_crop.jpg (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /webroot/c/t/ctfot001/www/fotoblog/admin/index.php on line 736


...a couple possibly consequential things:

-this is the first color image (RGB) i've posted

-this is the largest image i've posted (1000px wide - it's panoramic)

-the paths noted on the above warnings are actually wrong, even though i changed the paths in PP's admin: instead of ...www/fotoblog/admin..., the proper path is ...www/blog/admin... and reads that way as far as i can tell in PP's admin.

like i said, everything else seems to work fine, so the proper path is in there... why would this old path come into play?

and any ideas why all of a sudden, with this image? is there a size limit that i'm surpassing?

also, i just noticed that even though the large image appears when i see it through Safari browser, when i view my main page from within admin i get the questionmark - no image... and for some reason, seem to have lost a few minor details (title color) while viewing from admin. is any of this normal?

what is a "guessed imagepath"?

...ok, i think i know what one of my problems is, but a) i don't know how to fix it, and b) i don't know if fixing it will have anything to do with the above mentioned thumbnail problem.

here it is:

i initially had WordPress installed at ctfoto.com/blog, but then i discovered PP, so i set that up at ctfoto.com/fotoblog, with the intention of changing it over to /blog to replace the WordPress stuff once i got it looking nice... so, i did that in PP's admin, changed the image path to /blog, which seems to be working.

BUT, it also seems that PP admin is still running through /fotoblog, and i can't for the LIFE of me find where to edit or change that.

so, thanks to anyone who can help...

i figured it out... it was the different paths that was causing the thumbnail stuff.
