sorry for another newby Q... but now that i've made my own button at (http://kalsey.com/tools/buttonmaker/), how do i use it?

all i can see to do is drag it onto my desktop, which seems kinda antithetical to all that you nutty code writers stand for... i don't see where to grab the code for the button i've just configured...

The buttons are here

http://forum.pixelpost.org/showthread.php?t=18

or if that doesn't work go to Pixelpost 101 forumn and look for the "Powered by Pixelpost" thread. They are in there.

same newby question... what do i do with a .png file?

exactly what you'd fo with a gif image. it's just a different type of image format - a better one at that.

so, i just put it in my images folder, and create a link to it?

sorry for the dumb question - just not sure if there's another folder it should be in or not...

you can put it wherever you want and link to it there.

ct, you could use irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) to convert .png to .jpg/.gif if you're more comfortable with more common formats or your computer doenst have a default application to open it (i'm assuming you dont have photoshop installed?)

i figured it out... it wasn't the image file i was stuck on, it was the code that needed to surround it.

i impatiently asked my question before exploring it, as i should've. sorry.

exploration complete. problem resolved.

cheers!
