Help : access denied 1.4.3

Hi,

I am installing pixelpost 1.4.3 for the first time and followed the instructions precisely. I have created a single database through C panel to avoid confusion and I keep getting:

Error: Access denied for user: 'gapyear_gblog@localhost' to database 'gapyear_blog'

My website is with DIY Host and am wondering is there a time delay in setting up the database as some user report that it just worked after this types of error. I just dont know, any ideas?

you need to ensure that the account you're using has full access privileges to the database. best bet is usually to email your hosting company :)

some hosts, such as dreamhost...can take up to 5 hours for a database to actually be generated...which is retarded

email whatever hosting support is available, the issue on their end
