View Full Version : Issues returning to original image after making a comment

I am currently using pixelpost 1.4.2 and the latest version of the pixelgrain template over at my site http://yeti.mytilde.co.uk. I have used the simple template for a while and the comment section worked np but that used a popup window.

Problem

When you add a comment and click the link "Please click to be transferred back." you just go to a blank page rather than the original image. I think it has something to do with the popup in the URL because if I remove it the page appears with the new comment intact. I have been looking around the script but afraid to break something with my limited knowledge of PHP so here I am asking for help.

Please feel free to post comments to test :)

Thanks

YETi

Before we look into your problem, it might be worth upgrading to the latest version of Pixelpost! 1.4.3 is up for download

this is a known bug and it is fixed as far as I know
You might have searched the forum
there was a typo in the URL

I am quite sure, if you upgrade you won't run into that problem anymore

Thanks for your replies I will upgrade and see where I go from there.

Connie - FYI I did not think my problem was a one off and therefore I did search the forum prior to posting, but was unable to find the solution so I posted for help, may be I wasn't looking hard enough? Also I clicked on the URL in my original post and the link works.... confused.

it's good that it is working now!

sometimes you just don't find the right keywords for the problem to run a successful search

I wrote that not to offend you but I remembered that this problem was covered in many postings already

and a search is always faster than a posting where you have to wait for an answer ;=)

but it is solved now and that is the important thing!
