Addon Help - Show recent picture

I am currently trying to get the addon for show recent picture on the main page of my journal. I am running Wordpress, and I know that there is a plug-in for that, but I am unable to get that plug-in to work, as it appears to be written for previous versions of wordpress (I am currently running WP1.5)

It's werid, I can get the most recent picture to appear on other pages that I have created, but not able to get it to show up on the main page of my domain.

Any comments, thoughts, or ideas on how I can fix this, or why this is happeneing?

I have WP 1.5 and the plugin works for me.
actually I made the plugin :P
btw, http://forum.pixelpost.org/showthread.php?t=2740 is really good for people that find my plugin hard to use.
