Send Email on Comments?

Is it possible to have this function send the message to multiple email addresses?

I ask because I"m building a site for family photos and thought it would be a nice feature to send out the email to all family members whenever comments have been added to individual images.

There may be a way of doing this, and I have a photoblog like you are trying to set up... I, however, use this really nice add-on that allows users to subscribe/unsubscribe to the comments... It may be just what you were looking for... I love it.

Sounds like that provide exactly the functionality I'm looking for. But unless I miss my guess, it also seems it must use the Comments Popup to function.(??)

I've been working on a customized version of the 'Simple' template and have incorporated all the Comments info to appear on the page with each image vs sending visitors to a separate Comments page. So, I'm making a WAG this Add-On won't work for me.(???)

Oh good.... a hint. There are innumerable members of the female sex in this world who will attest to my inability to get a hint. :)

So, for the hint-impaired, could you point me down a starting path. The description for this Add-On seems to suggest one must be utilizing the comment_template.html file to make it work. As I'm incorporating all Comment related info on the individual pic page, I'm not really using that template file...or so it would seem.

well, before you break your legs because of pride and beauty, why not make things very simple?

If you have a website, mostly there are mailing-lists configurable
these mailinglists have one email-adress and if you send mail to that adress, the message will be mailed to all members of that list

why not just use a mailing-list-email-adress as recipient for info on comment?

Turns out even the hint impaired me was able to figure this out....the recommended Add-On was simpler to implement than I'd thought from first read of the description.
