Installation problems

I'm getting off to a bad start here, but I've followed the installation instructions up to the point where I have to type in www.yourwebby.com/pixelpost/admin and this is the message that appears on the screen:

PARSE error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in / user/niceguyprod/cgi=bin/pixelpost/admin/index.php on line 564

I'm sure it must mean something to someone... somewhere.

I just suppose the script is not uploades as ASCII to your server?
WHich FTP did you use?

some ftp-programs upload files in BINARY mode and then the code is corrupted

just upload again and be sure to upload in ASCII
