Hi there,
1.5 was working finely for days, but today I cannot log into my blog. I even asked for a pw recovery, got un & pw generated and sent - no result. Feel like I am locked out of my house.
Any idea?
All help would be undiscribedly appreciated. Serious 8-| as you can imagine

do you have access to your database via phpmyadmin?

I don't think you have password problem. you might have probblem loggin in due to cache/session issues with browsers. that's my thought.

yes i have access to phpmyadmin
I don't know what cache problem could occur, given that the new engine worked fine for 3-4 days and I did not change anything since last login...
:???:
yes my old password changed because I asked for a temp pw, but I still couldn't log in with that one
problem is probably a session cookie cached in your web browser.
make sure you do not have your blog open in any web browser, then remove all cookies for your domain and then try again.

are you working with IE?
I learned that is is not enough to delete cookies from inside IE, but it could be necessary to shutdown IE, then delete the cookies manually...
please try this as well

Hi
thanks for the help and I appologize for my disappearance (you know xmas madness)
back to topic: I use Firefox, but tried in IE, also deleted all cookies manually as you advised, but no result, still cannot log in..., really wierd,
I have this terrible feeling that I will have to re-install the whole thing, but in that case I may wait untill 1.5 alfa's out. At least gives a chance to solve this issue and learn from it.
happy new year too
