I seem to be successfully able to upload images, but can't view them. When I go to "Images" to see the images in the database (currently only one test image) I get the following error:

Warning: getimagesize(../images/20051228233142_1134509506.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in c:\domains\gabrielgraff.com\wwwroot\pixelpost_1.4. 3\admin\index.php on line 735

The image doesn't show up when you navigate to my blog (a missing file icon appears instead). All my paths seem to be set correctly and working now (see below). Any thoughts?

Thanks team!

1) do you work locally on your PC?

c:\domains\gabrielgraff.com\wwwroot\pixelpost_1.4. 3\admin\index.php

Guessed imagepath: /pixelpost_1.4.3/images/
Configured Imagepath c:\\domains\gabrielgraff.com\wwwroot\pixelpost_1.4 .3\

all paths look strange for me, slashes and back slashes mixed... how can a webserver find any image-paths with backslashes?

2) if you work locally, you might install a GD-lib with JPG-support

3) if not you might ask your hoster to install a GD-lib with JPG-support for you!

the GD-info shows that no JPG-support is there

so there are 2 possible reasons for your problem, paths and GD-lib

thanks Connie,

I think it was a bit of both. GD-lib wasn't installed (I had my host install it) and the paths were a bit wonky, but I was able to fix it using a relative path for the blog address (www.gabrielgraff.com/photography) and then a direct path for the images file (c://domains/gabrielgraff.com/wwwroot/photography/images).

anyway, thanks for the help!

I am glad it is ok now!

Sometimes it's not easy to sort out all the possible reasons..

oh oh oh, my friend, just wanted to browse your photoblog and dear me, who has a screen big enough or a 2560 pixel sized image ;=(

please check the size of your images or nobody will really enjoy your photoblog, as usual screen resolutions are 1024 x ... or 1280 y ..

and please rotate the image as well, my neck gets stiff ;=)
