Hi there,
Suddenly, all my templates changed by themselves. I used the "simple" template and modified it a bit for my site : www.hendralauw.com
But just now, everything changed by itselves. My site doesn't look like what it was before. ?????
Anyone knows what happened?
Thanks all !!

haha. templates don't just change by themselves magically! somebody must have done something to your template files.

hix hix ... I am serious guys ... OK ... I didn't change them myselves.
Did my host change them? :-(
I really didn't do anything to them ... and suddenly it became like that.
Thanks for browsing the photos, guys. Glad you like them.
Let me try to upload all the templates again.

Guys ... I have re-uploaded the template (modified version of "simple" template), but still it doesn't show it correctly.
Any idea what might have happened ?

Thanks Connie.
I have deleted the temporary internet files and cookies from my Internet Explorer , but the problem is still there.
I have also tried to use Firefox ... same result ... still wrong template. :-(
The design should look like the standard 'Simple' template from pixelpost. I just modified it a bit.
Really don't know what happened. :-(

Am playing around to switch from one template to another ... and see how it goes. Will update here again later.

just redownload the original simple template if thats what you're after - perhaps you changed something you didn't mean to.

Hi there,
Something strange happened ... earlier this afternoon, both Firefox and Internet Explorer displayed wrong template for my website.
I re-uploaded again my modified templates files and css file just now ... and now, Firefox displayed it correctly ... but Internet Explorer still displayed it wrongly, eventhough I have cleared the browser cache.
Any idea why IE displayed it wrongly, while Firefox displayed it correctly?
Any way to make it work for both of them?
Thanks !!

yes: remove
<script type="text/javascript" src="templates/simple/scripts/styleswitcher.js"></script>
and
<link rel="alternate stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/simple/styles/dark.css" title="dark" />
from the head of your template files.

Hi Joe[y],
I did that just now, but IE still does not display it correctly. Any idea?
Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks a lot for looking into this.

try changing
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/simple/styles/light.css" title="light" />
to
<STYLE type="text/css">@import "templates/simple/styles/light.css";</STYLE>

Hi Joe[y]
Thanks for keep looking into this.
It still doesn't work. Firefox is still OK ... but now IE displays the text @import "templates/simple/styles/light.css"; at the top of the page.
If you have IE you can see it.

yes... IE sucks :p - it may not have liked a quotation mark in your image info or title or something. if you haven't already - upgrade to 1.5beta.

wow ... confirmed ... IE doesn't like the quotation mark (")in the image info and title. I removed them ... and that little boy page now displays correctly in IE. I can now smile ... :-)
Thanks Joe[y] for all the help !!!!!!! Much appreciated.
What's the procedure to upgrade to 1.5beta ?
