Hello all.
Well I've loaded and successfully installed pixelpost.
This morning I even uploaded a photo, and although not to my liking it worked. The photo was next to the right margin not centered as I hoped, the thumbnail was only of the top half which was confusing.
So my question is where to now? Where should I start to create the photoblog I could be proud of? Remembering that my photography skills are okay but my web skills are basic. How do I proceed?
Thanx to everyone in advance.

Great begining - let us have the address of your website so we can look at it to tell you what went wrong, based on your description it appears that you tried to modify a template and it went wrong...
Try using one of the readymade templates to start with and you can then keep modifying it one bit at a time

Hello once again!
You can see the bare beginnings here:
http://www.chuprinastudios.com/blog/
I guess I want the photo to be centered in the middle of the lower text box. The thumbnail in its current form I think is terrible, Ed my cat looks like he has been guilotined! I'd prefer the thumbnail be of the whole photo.
I'd also love to change the template. Is it that hard to create your own? Where do I start? I have some specific ideas of what I want the final product to look like. Did I hear you say, "Oh No another control freak photographer.!"
Thanx again, any help would be appreciated and respected.

For proper thumbnail image select 12Cropimage as the Crop Thumbnail option in the Admin, once you select that you will be given an option to create thumbnails crop as per you wish after you have uploaded the image...
Will look into the center part tomm - it is late here... basically you can try putting <center> </center> around the part where the picture is displayed...

Pat,
do a search, maybe in google, for "html tutorial online" and try at least to learn the basics yourself
it is very frustrating for everybody to learn step by step or to help step by step without a "smallest common denominator" (is that the right phrase?)
a good start is http://webdesign.about.com/od/htmlxhtmltutorials/index.htm?terms=html
good luck!
