Hello all, hoping to have plenty of dialogue with some pros and newbies such as myself. I live in Georgian Bay area in Ontario and have so many places that are a dream to take pictures. I plan on having a lot of fun.

Wooow, nice template you use. Looks almost like Yahoo! ;)
What do you think self about the photo?

be picky about your lighting, if you want to take nature shots, get used to getting up at the crack of dawn to be there in that first morning light/mist/fog or hiking through the rain right as the sun is about to break back out to get those natural super vibrant colors

Yes...it is a bit crude but we all must take baby steps in the begining.....I have spent most of my life as a work aholic and rasing my family...finally decided to do something for me
I see what you are saying about the time of day also...lets see what i can come up with next.
Ive been viewing some amazing photos here....some that will be an inspiration no doubt. I will work on a eye friendly template as i move along too.....
thank you
Mike

cool. when are you setting up a pixelpost blog though? ;)
Photography is the way to get some rest :) Specially making photo's of nature.
Try to find a view that makes a photo different that other photo's. Look for strange colours and shapes. Play with the light. Play with the settings of your camera.
Look around and take time to make a photo. Maybe you see a possibility to make the photo more creative.
Always make more then one photo of a subject, when you at home you select the best and place it online :).
