Login Question

I know there are a few of these threads, but I didn't understand any of them.

I can't login and when I try to retrieve my password, it says, "didn't send. database error".

Could anyone help me out in laymans terms?

did you install the script completely?
which webserver is active?
did you enter the correct database-settings into "includes/pixelpost.php" ?
which PHP-version is installed?
which MySQL-Version is installed?

how can it be that if installation went ok, your database cannot be connected by login?

I'm almost sure that you are using 1.4.3 and facing the bug that corrected in 1.5

I'm pretty sure it's installed correctly. I have uploaded images onto it.

Try logging in and you will see. Where did you download 1.5 Raminia? I think it would be easier for me to do that. This is the third time I haven't been able to login and had to re-install.
