I "hid" this question in another thread the other day but didn't get a reply and I still haven't worked out a solution. I fear it might be all too obvious but I hope somebody doesn't mind helping this idiot out.
OK, problem is this: when I try to change the number of thumbnails in a row on the archive page by changing the number on admin>options>thumbnails, the changes are ignored (i.e. It is set to five on my admin page but nine are still showing per row on my site).
Secondly, this old chestnut: I have "maximum number of thumbnails per page" set at 40 on my admin>add_ons page but that is being ignored too and all thumbs are being displayed. There have been other threads about this and one said that it might be a problem with the "simple" template I'm using. Is this still the case? I tried changing the links as suggested in other posts but it didn't work. I'm completely inexperienced with these things though so maybe I just stuffed up.
I'm running PP1.4.3. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
