Show "latest photo" on wordpress blog?

I've search and simply can't find my answer. Is there a way to show a thumbnail of the latest picture in a pixelpost blog? The two blogs are on the same server, but different databases.

I will be having a small box on the main page of wordpress that is dedicated to always showing the latest pic.
