newbie question

Hey Dudes

First, im a absolutly Newbie! And my english is very bad 'cause im from Germany.

My Question:

Everytime I try to upload a picture with Pixelpost, i get these failure:

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 33 is not allowed to access / owned by uid 0 in /srv/www/httpd/phost/f/de/pytalhost/flixiboy/web/admin/index.php on line 418

And at the "General Info" I cant see my image and thumbnail folders.....does anyone why?

Did you make images and thumbnails directories with CHMOD at least 666?? If no do it.
Otherwise you should talk with your ISP coz it looks like misconfigured server (root direcotry of server shouldnt be place where files are temporarly stored; it should be /tmp or some users directory).

On your pic there is CHMOD 777 on thumbnails but on images is 755. Elementary setting for PP is 666 or greater (766,776 or 777).

ok....i changed this, but it lokks like this.....i cant upload pictures and i dont see the folders in the general Info.....

i tried to change the images path in options and its done....i can see it by the general info:

im using pixelpost_1.4.3

it's possibly to do with you using php 5 - though i can't be sure of this cause i don't think i've seen this error before. anyway, upgrading to 1.5beta (you can find the download link in the version releases section of this forum) may be able to help you.

also check with your host if you have permissions to upload files to your server - 'safe mode restriction in effect' doesn't look good.

cool. it looks like 1.5 tackles php 5 just great so far!
