browsed through forum before making this new thread, but can't find a solution to the problem elsewhere:
thumbs are not being created ('thumbnails' folder remains empty)
i am an itermediate user, and have checked most possibilities (and yes..i've set chmod to 777 :) )
i guess it all falls down to the host. gd-lib is one option, but its above 2xx, so still not very likely. i'm running winxp. host is www.surftown.com

has anyone had any experience with this happening, and found a possible solution? inserting thumbs manually is not a good way of livinng.
