Hi all.

How big should my image be in my photoblog? I want to keep a nice balance between image quality and load speed for a site visitor?

What dpi do you set you web images to? Do you have pixelsizes that you do not overstep? Is that because of your template, or because of people's assumed computer settings?

What else do you factor into your image size decision?

700 pixels wide at most for me.

no point in going any higher than 72dpi for the internet.

for square images i use 550px height and width and for portrait format shots i use 450px wide and 600 high.
