Inspired by recent posts on Chromasia and Sensitive Light, I tried some
smoke photography. It take ALOT of shots to find a few
that are "postworthy", but that's why I love working in digital.

Thoughts these (or others from the series)?

IMO - 220 looks like a female body, or maybe I just need to spend more time
with my wife and less with my camera...

Very cool effect - I like the first one, 219, the best. Easy to see why digital would be so important. This definitely looks like a case where you could take 50 shots - like two today and a week later like a completely different set. Such an abstract idea - I like the effect. I've never tried this type of thing, so constructive comments are a bit tough.

...

This reminds me a lot of some shots a friend took for an album project titled "fluidities" - mostly ink in water shots. Similar because you don't know where the ink is going to swirl and settle to just like the smoke rising.

These are the shots that didn't make the cd package:

[I'm not promoting here - but as a disclaimer the last track on CD2 is mine. The music is as abstract as the photography.]

I like this one the best as well... I think because of the "bowl" halfway down on the right-hand side... the other two are almost too, um, spindly for my liking! (I'm talking about the shape of the smoke, now!) ;)
