well they weren't their originally- it rejected the user 'replace_me' - anyway...
very trusting but some may say very stupid of you to put your password on a public forum - i'd suggest editing your post asap.
anyway for some reason your template seems to have changed a bit... it's missing a slash here:
<img src="images/2006011919212803_44.jpg" alt="4
place a slash before images so you have /images in your image_template.html in the simple template folder.
hi joe,
first thankyou for your help, i have put the L/P online, just because there is nothing really important now on the blog...
for the probleme i have with pixelpost, i have tried to add an slash in the "simple" template file, without results...
but i think i have found some indications from where is located the problem..
i uploaded the pixelpost folder, and set the chmod to 777 for images and thumbnails folder
i have tried to upload photos from "New Photo" tab, photo gone uploaded but problem they aren't reachables
i explain : photo are present in the ftp folder, chmod is 777 but i can't reach them in a browser :
exemple :
http://www.pixelblog.org/images/2006012005315300_62.jpg
is'nt reachable...
i can see the file in the folder (ftp) but i can't see it in the browser...
it'seem as if there is an interdiction to see the folder content.
I have tried this :
if i rename the "images" folder "images2"
i can see the pictures directly in a browser
exemple : http://www.pixelblog.org/images2/2006012005315300_62.jpg
i have changed images folder name in : /templates/simple/image_template.html
<img src="images2/2006011919212803_44.jpg" alt="4
and now i can see large pictures within pixelpost on pixelblog.org :
http://www.pixelblog.org/photoblog (with : "image2s/ in place of images/ "image_template.html)
but if i rename the images2 folder again to "images", or if i create another folder "images" and copy the images to it, i got the same problem again : address is'nt reachable
no problem with thumbnails folder, without renaming it i can see photos in a browser on address
http://www.pixelblog.org/thumbnails/thumb_2006012005315300_62.jpg
the problem is here, when i add photos to pixelpost, it seem the folder images become locked from view...
the more crazy, is :
for test, i have uploaded pixelpost folder in an subfolder emplacement : www.pixelblog.org/photoblog
and without doing anything special, pixelpost work well... i uploaded photos, and can see them... without changing anything....
Where is the problem ? Mysql User Rights (all rights enabled)
Now 48 hours i 'm stalled on the pixelpost install on pixelblog.org, i have take 5mn on other address
thank you for your help Joey.
it's the first time i have problem with pixelpost...
some idea ?
thanks
Cedric
ps : sorry for my bad english speaking, i'ts very difficult for me to explain my problem in english... Is here anyone speaking french ? i 'm afraid from my bad quality english i hope you will understood me...
Please, help, i'm really feeling alone, i have reinstalled all the entire domain, (bind, apache virtual host, unix user ) to install pixelpost on pixelblog.org, but with no result
The same problem persist...
no large photo, juste thumbnails are visible...
the pixelpost install work well, all is right on the "GENERAL INFO"page :
http://www.pixelblog.org/admin/index.php?view=info
but when i add an new photo, the "images" folder became unreachable ...
from the time i upload an new photo, i can't see :
http://www.pixelblog.org/image
another thing i have remark
if i install pixelpost in an subfolder of www.pixelblog.org, no more problem...
all work well... images, thumbnails...

sorry i haven't been around all weekend. umm.. - i really don't understand what the problem could be right now. but i'm very tired so i'm certainly over looking something.
Maybe there is some security issue??
Which group and user is with images directory before an upload and after it??
hi friends
i have found the problem source
there was in the apache conf file httpd.conf and alias /image
##
Alias /images/ /usr/share/images/
<Directory /usr/share/images>
Options MultiViews
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
##
i have removed these lines, restarted apache, and all were right...
http://www.pixelblog.org
i don't know why were these lines in my httpd.conf file..
but those lines are present in the default httpd.conf file ..
