I took this one during a walk with my child. It was cold and I had not a lot of time to take the "perfect one" but the results seems not so bad to me.
What do you think of it ? feel free to critique ! ( don't burn me to much he ! ;-) )

i really like the sky's blue gradient against the silhouette of the tree.
i don't think the tree is very lonely though, it seems like it's in good company being surrounded by the nearby foliage and water.
the title put a lovely image of an isolated tree, branches bare, standing all on it's own in a desolate landscape, so i was a bit under whelmed.
if you framed the whole tree, instead of cutting off the tips of the branches, it may look more complete.
nice all the same though.
I like the tree shot - good framing - interesting tree. I like the fact the whole tree wasn't in frame (in contrast to lopp for what it's worth). I agree with lopp's comment that the title is a bit misleading - the tree seems very sociable. :-)
I enjoyed flipping through your photos - there's definitely a lonely tree shot in there - although I really enjoyed your people photos as well as the shot in Thailand. I found the people shots to look very genuine and spontaneous.
