Backing up data in 1.4.3?

So I hear there's someone going around defacing the work of creative people. How do I back up the folders so that I can recreate my site if someone decides to hurt my work?

Does the host (Eleven2 in my case) back up?

the defacing comments don't actually affect your work and are simply comments that can be deleted from your databse - don't worry too much about them.

of course though back-ups can never hurt and therefore backup if you want to. i'm sure e2 probably does backups regularly which will cover your arse in case of any server problems.
