...but I suddenly had odd things happen in comments. I deleted one comment from the admin site, but now everything is screwy. It won't let me go to any other image except the most recent one, even though the number in the URL (pertaining to the image) changes accordingly.
I also deleted the image with the odd comment, but I got an error message:
Post deleted.
Image deleted.
Warning: unlink(../thumbnails/thumb_20060127130012_picturename.jpg): No such file or directory in /home/myblog/public_html/admin/index.php on line 714
Could not delete thumbnail. You have to do that some other way, with your ftp software perhaps.
now nothing is working. I'm wary of posting my URL here, as this forum seems to be the trawling ground for the hackers. Maybe a members-only forum would help....

I'd be glad to provide my URL privately. Not sure what to do. I only get one image, my most recent one - no matter whether I click on the thumbnails, in archives, or the image itself to take me to a previous entry.
Help! I'm not technical!

Hmmm... also, I may have done this myself. DOH! I tried to register for Photoblogs.org, and was told by some automated message that I would need to have a certain authentication code as part of my header. Being the full-on noob, I tried to edit the file, got some odd error, and then restored the original file.
In order to link your member username to this photoblog, you'll need to add an authentication meta tag inside the <head></head> of the website.
This is the meta tag that you'll need to add:
<meta name="PBO.auth" content="4b3caf7d39beed91e702930f6baf9e5e" />
Might I have fumbled something? How do I restore the original file in case I made a mistake? Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Yes, I was nervous about being hacked, so I tried to delete a comment and image that seemed as though it was defaced.
Please help me restore my site. What can I do? What info do you need from me to help you give me the right advice?

when you say 'now nothing is working' can you elaborate please?

Exactly as I described above: regardless of what I click, it gives me the image page with the most recent image, rather than any other one. Whether I try to click from thumbnails in archives, or just the current image itself (which should take me to the previous image.)
I'll try to upload a test image. I'm going to PM you the URL.

Ok, so when I switch templates, the site works fine. Odd. It seems that I made a change in the Pixelgrain template. So can I simply reinstall Pixelgrain?

yup. that sounds quite easily like a template problem - yup, reinstalling the tempalte should fix the problem fine.

Did it, fixed it, works.
Nonetheless I don't like the hackability. Apparently 1.5 is my answer. I will upgrade over the weekend.
