email listing?

Hello everyone.

I'm just about to start working on my "about" page and I want to mention my email address at the bottom of the copyright blurb for contact if anyone is interested in a print. I was wondering(and I think there were a few tutorials on this somewhere) is there a safe way to do this without any "bots" picking up this address and causing a spam extrravaganza?

insert your email address in a little jpg/gif.. should do the job
i think "creative" spelling.. f.e. "pat@<my-blog-domain>" works good too.

there are so many things to make this possible
insert contact forms
insert as graphic file

but just do not convert in some HTML-notation because I am sure bots can read that ..
