Viewer Stats?

Hello everyone!

I'm not sure this question belongs here but anyways: Does anyone know of a site, tutorials, or a book on how to decipher viewer stats gotten from such programs as Mint?

do you use mint? surely everything around mint is fairly self explanatory - it is for me anyway - mint shows stats in a very simple form. ie, if if tells me i had 200 hits today it means just that - 200 people hit my website today.
