My new comment notification seems a little off. Here's what I get - in this example a comment I made myself in response to a visitor's comment:

Hello,
A new comment has been made at your photoblog.

http://www.westernflatline.com/pixelpost/?showimage=71
[Red X icon]

The Comment is:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you. All I did was crop this particular shot.

However, the correct link should be:
http://www.westernflatline.com/index.php?showimage=71
Also, I get a little "Red X" missing picture icon, where presumably there ought to be a thumbnail to the image in question.

Do I have something misconfigured? Is there something I can do to correct this?

can you post the actual source of the email - so we can see what the code for the thumbnail image is that you are a receiving.

I'm not sure how. I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 to read my e-mails. How would I view the Source?

The Red X could also be a configuration setting in Outlook - I get a Red X in Gmail and Thunderbird - but there is also a helpful button which says show images and also explains that the images have been blocked to protect your privacy and blah blah.....

Roger that. It is not it, unfortunately. I don't block images in Outlook, so it's something else.

put
<input type='hidden' name='parent_name' value='<IMAGE_NAME>' /> inside the comment template between <form> and </form> tags.

btw,
the path is not correct. your photoblog is at http://www.westernflatline.com/ but the path points to
http://www.westernflatline.com/pixelpost/ ??

i don't use outlook so i wouldn't know how to check the source. but seeing the source would make life easy in diagnosing the problem.

Try CTRL+U to view source - it works in many programs which can show source of something.
