Can help on months calendar?

the addon "calendar" must be putting into image_template.

I have a curious idea to creat another calendar that only shows the months,and have a year selector below.

and put it into browse_template instead of the date-category drop-down menu.

IMHO its done ("Monthly archive" at left in the middle) - Page-By-Page-Archive for category and month:

what I exactly want is to display the month like the calendar(horizontal).

Try to look in code of PP calendar build-in addon and try to remake it. That is one of the best ways.
The best one would be to write it by yourself from zero. This way you can get everything what you need.
