Still having trouble

I have PP working before but then I've made some changes to my domain and add-on domain. I couldn't get it to work in the add-on domain so now I'm back to trying to get it working in my main domain. I installed it into a new folder (let's say 'newfolder') in the main domain.

I can upload images, which show in the admin page correctly. I can edit them, etc.

In the options, the URL was listed as:

http://www.domainname.com/index.php.

It didn't put in the /newfolder/ part. I added that part and updated. It seems to update. But then, when I go to another part of the admin app and then return to the main page, the URL gets set back to:

http://www.domainname.com/index.php

When I browse to www.domainname.com/index.php or www.domainname.com/newfolder/index.php I get a blank screen.

It's very frustrating since I had it working the first time I installed it but haven't been successful since.

you don't need index.php on the end of that url... should just be http://www.mydomain.com/

Leaving off the 'index.php' doesn't make any difference and no matter what I do it automatically resets the URL field in admin to:

'http://www.maindomain.com/index.php'

You can leave login data to you test pixelpost setup to one of dev team members (i.e. to me) and in free time we can try to help you solve this problem.

I went back to square one. Deleted the DB, all of the files and re-installed in the main domain. Now it works.

It means that some of your files or DB scheme weren't correct.
