ok so about visitor couts

i searched through other threads around here and i couldn't seem to find a solution/answer to my problem.

perhaps it's a bug with 1.5or it could be a problem with my db but my visitor counter has gone and reset itself and i can't figure out why, now i have gone and commented it out on my about page at http://www.ryancarman.com

but i would love to know why it has happened so i can either restore it or prevent the same error from reoccuring

Maybe you have some DB size quotas?

yeah litterally just at random reset itself, i have't done anything in a week or so but ad pics and such, and yesterday poof reseteded :(

not that its a big deal but it is an easy way for me to keep track of traffic right ;) so it's irritating

db size quotas? what do you mean?

I mean that maybe your ISP set to you some max size of DB quota. But anyway it doesnt give answer why its doing reset :/

yeah i don't think that would be the case, i have a turbo hosting package for my www space so it seems unlikely but can look into that ...

i would ask them, they might have some logs. there is nothing in pixelpost to clear that table out like that

Mine gets reset at the start of each month.

Given you posted this just after a month end maybe that happens with your host too?

At the beggining of each month they should be only processed but not completly erased.
