No JPG - Thumbnails were created

Hello Pixelpost - Forum,

i installed Pixelpost 1.4.3 and i had the problem, that no thumbnails were created of jpg-files. thumbs from png or gif are generated.

the same problem with version 1.5beta 1.

my host informations are:

MySQL version 4.0.21-standard (Pixelpost's min requirement: MySQL: 3.23.58 )
GD-lib 2.0 or higher with JPEG support
File Uploads to Pixelpost site are possible.
Server software Apache/1.3.27 (Linux/SuSE) mod_perl/1.27 mod_ssl/2.8.12 OpenSSL/0.9.6i
EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF-information.

does anyone has an idea what causes this problem? GD-lib 2.0 with jpg support is installed..

Do you get any errors at thumb generation process??

Can you turn off for a while admin_ping.php addon at addons section in admin panel - just for test?

if i upload a new picture i get no error - and no thumbnail.

i get an error when i go into OPTIONS -> THUMBNAILS -> "re-generate thumbs":

Notice: Use of undefined constant IMAGE_BASE - assumed 'IMAGE_BASE' in /html/fotoblog/includes/functions.php on line 89

and i had the same problems like other users with a lot of "Notices", so i wrote this line in admin/index.php -> "error_reporting(0);".

The error shown above (IMAGE_BASE) is only shown when error reporting is on.

Is it helpful when i give someone of you access to the PP-Admin Interface?
