View Full Version : Need Conversion of Hinigata Template? From Movable Type to Pixelpost?

Hello Fellow Pixelpost Fans:
I am looking for a way to convert the Movable Type Hinagata Photoblog template found here: http://hinagata.biz/photo/ - to a Pixel Post template which I can use for my pixelpost blog. If any one is up to the challenge, I'd love to have your help. I've tried to do it myself, and it was so daunting that I gave up. I really like this template, and I use to have it when I ran my photoblog from MT. But I like Pixelpost too much, and I could use some help here. It would be so appreciated.
Any Takers? ...Of course this could be a template that all Pixel Post users could take advantage of... Of course, original template design will still belong to Hinagata, just a pixelpost conversion...

Can I see this template in a live site anywhere?
Also - I do not see any license info on the above site (though it has been given to public I presume it is open)

Maybe I should contact the author to make sure it is okay? I've seen the template used on various blogs, although, I cannot recall them off the top of my head at the moment. Nothing will change with the template with it's physical looks, and the link graphic or link and everything else would stay intact as a template.

I think? This is the translation for the Hinagata template "set" as follows this translation:
"It is the original edition where templet set is different from the Movable Type default * templet, resets from one. To read theme it is easy to cheapness and the machine and to the person. So it is the templet which can be made the parenthesis good (the can the っ て it is). Other than 3 types of 2 columns * 3 columns * photo Bu log, it releases the templet of each part as customization plan.
Does fee occur the occasion where HINAGATA templet set is utilized?
Being gratuitous, it offers HINAGATA templet set, but as using templet set Weblog, we have asked the indication of the banner. Banner indication is optional, but when there is no banner, be able to support there are times when it is unable. (With commercial business it is not this limit in regard to use. Please be sure to communicate )"
I will get you the source page for this...
I still haven't received a reply to my email, and it looks like the Hinagata website has not been updated in a while!?

Duplication * diversion * it prohibits of HINAGATA templet set redistribution, (with you say or, basically it is prohibition). In addition, of, also application and such dressing up which give misunderstanding like whether you are your own production ones vis-a-vis the third party are prohibition. But, it is possible to release the portion of the templet on the employer sight as a correction plan and a customization plan. In that case, we ask the track/truck back to entry of use templet set.
Being HINAGATA templet set commercial business to like to use, it does, but....

Also, if anyone is well versed in the Japanese language, maybe they could clarify the terms better from the Hinagata site. Sorry for all the posts at different intervals. From what it looks like, Hinagata desires that those whom use the template use the "Hinagata powered" banner to link back, but this is not required. The rest of the terms are kind of difficult for me to intrepret...
Write to author and maybe he is english speaking guy and will bright you :)

No one has responded to my emails regarding this template. So where to go from here? I'm still trying to find a way to convert this template over to pixelpost. As far as I know it is okay to do so. It just can't be redistributed.
