Best way to sort pictures?

Hi all.

I've been wondering about a good way to sort the images on my site. I have uploaded pictures in the last few months that I would like to appear in a certain order.

Right now they are sorted by Upload date.

Should I manually enter in a date for them to create a particular order? Is that the best way to go?

when you upload images in admin panel, you can choose the datetime whatever you want.

pixelpost is indeed a photoblog, images are ordered by date they are posted for. There isnt really another way to do it.

Although how would you show the latest picture when you first visit the site? Mine seems to show the earliest uploaded picture.

Well, I think you’re mixed up, because early is first in time, and late is the most recent no? A photoblog is posted in reverse order, like flipping through a calendar backwards or something, The most recent image is displayed first, and the olderst image is displayed last.
