i read the install thread but what's a database?

i am computer literate i am just totally new to coding and web pages. how do i get a good host and once i do how do i use pixelpost with that host.

well, i can point you to http://forum.pixelpost.org/showthread.php?t=1091 and once hosting and domain is setup they (eleven2) can assist you in how to setup a database on the server/account. The rest reads just like the install manual :)
