Hi,
I've noticed that <IMAGE_NOTES_CLEAN> and <IMAGE_NOTES> don't seem to work on my site (http://boback.com/fotoblog/index.php) anymore. I know the notes are saved when I update a picture, since I see them in the RSS feed.
I've not done anything drastic, or changed anything major. Just the template.
You should (and I could before) see the image note in the comments popup, and also if you hover over "Info+Comments" on the top right of the pics.
Can anyone help?
Cheers

Boback.
P.S. <IMAGE_NOTES> doesn't seem to be working anywhere now. Not even in the image_template.html :(
Try to upload script files one more time from fresh downloaded ZIP archive.
If it would not help try to ask your hoster did they do last time any servers software update.

I've replaced all the script files, and have checked and my hosting company hasn't made any drastic changes in the last few weeks.
It was working fine last week. All of a sudden its not. :(

something must have changed with your host as things don't stop working for no reason. how do the enries look in your database? are they still present in the database?

Yea, I've looked using phpmyadmin, and they look fine in the database. So I have no idea what the heck is going on.
Does the function that calls up the notes do anything out of the ordinary that would be a "security risk" as far as hosting companies are concerned? I would have thought there wouldn't be much difference between the SQL query calling up the <IMAGE_TITLE> than the one calling <IMAGE_NOTES>.
Cheers

I wrote an email to my hosting, asking if they've done anything recently to stop the above. Their reply:
"We did recently upgrade our PHP 5 version to 5.1.2. You may want to check
the documentation for your photoblog to make sure there are no
incompatibilities or patches that need to be ran."
FYI: My host is Dreamhost.
Are there any patches / fixes I would need to apply for the above version of PHP5?
Thanks
Boback.

omgz. lol. dreamhost AND php5 - both of pixelposts arch enemies. lol.
a lot of issues brought around by php5 were fixed with 1.5 so consider upgrading to 1.5beta (you can get this in the version releases seciton of this forum)

Ho Hum!
EDIT (one hour later) OK I've upgraded to 1.5beta. Seems to have fixed the issue I was having. Thanks for the push :P
