The installation went ok. Te MySQL tables are created, but i had to create the thumbs and image directories myself. When I started the admin I tested it with a upload of an image that results in an strange message:
Error
Upload went without error.
Nothing happens, what is wrong?
Please help me

Thank you, That problem is solved a slash was missing at the end. Now the posting of images works fine but the program puts the images in the root directory and not in the images sub directory. See also my new topic.

Hi Connie! since this is about installation, im posting here. :-)
My question is related to the database question that you answered in another thread.
as it is written in the file:
you need the name of the host where the database is located
the name of the database
the name of the login
the password of the login
and $pixelpost_db_pixelpost = "replace_me"; // database
this means you must enter the name of the database
your hoster must give you all this information
Can you give an example?
My server has MySQL. So should I put MySQL or the filename of the database like "file.sql" or something?
And the hostname is a complete url like "http://my.website.com/database/" or just "/database/" ?
I'm sorry if my questions are very stupid but I'm new about this and at a lost, so I'm asking. :?

hi 3rings,
I think you should enter the name of the database, as stated by your provider.
e.g., my Webspace provider says the mySQL database name must be named by "my_" and my login name, therefore I had to enter "my-steff"
so, the answer is in the FAQ of your provider :)

Hi Steff!
Thanks a lot!
So I inquired with my provider and indeed they have a separate username, password, etc for the database which is apart from the website server.
Now it's working and I'm looking at the possibilities in layout. How I can change the CSS if ever or make the layout like one of those featured sites. :-)
Cheers!
