Before I Make The Switch

My current never-updated-until-recently photoblog is here - http://iwontremember.com (I've been using Flickr since last spring.) I want to use my photoblog again and I wold love to have PP be my publishing tool of choice. BUT first I need to know: 1) Can I import my 5 or so entries from MT into PP? 2) Are there specific PP tags or plugins that will extract the EXIF and show it in the entry?

ad 1.) there's a plugin for mt2pp here http://pixelpost.org/v1/index.php?x=downloads&details=86
i think you need to check if it matches your specs

ad 2.) pp extracts the exif data using exifier 1_5 and there are addons for nikon users (mainly important for d50/d70/d70s users)

So far I've got this - http://iwontremember.com/pp - as a test going. Do you know what plugin I would use to have more of the EXIF posted? Like this http://flickr.com/photo_exif.gne?id=106626490 I want to have the day the picture was taken and some other junk possibly.

read the taglist in the doc-folder:

EXIF-related Tags, to be used in the image_template.html

<EXIF_FLASH> <= if EXIF-data exists, contains: "Flash fired / Flash not fired", empty if no EXIF-data at all

<EXIF_CAMERA_MAKE>
<EXIF_CAMERA_MODEL>
<EXIF_ISO>

these tags will be enough for the beginning, I think!
