View Full Version : Editting page content?

I've been running a photoblog on Textpattern for some time now and have decided to give Pixelpost a whirl. Install went smoothly and I'm up and running at http://projectseoul.com, but I can't figure out how to edit page content or design, specifically:

- How do I change the site menu?
- How do I edit the content on the About page?
- What if I want to redesign the site's HTML or CSS?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry if these seem like stupid questions, but I can't seem to find where Pixelpost is hiding the information. Meanwhile, I've found all the info I imagine I could ever want about templates, addons, etc.

Thanks,
theturninggate

does textpattern have a template editor from it's admin? i can't remember...

anyway, all the html files that define your sites design can be found in /templates/ (your files are currently in the 'simple' folder) - changing the contents jsut requires some simple html understanding.

you can also download other templates from pixelpost.org/v1

You can do absolutely anything from with in the admin. TXP gives you full control over every aspect of your site. I love it to pieces, and will continue to use it to power my regular blog (http://theturninggate.com). TXP isn't built for photoblogging, though, and I had to effect serious permutations to the system to make it work the way I wanted for Project Seoul (http://projectseoul.com). Even then, I had to accept certain limitations.

So far, I'm liking Pixelpost for the site. I've been repopulating the gallery, and will be digging into the actual design templates afterwards to get the site looking the way I like it.

Thanks for the advice.
