Won't generate thumbnails

PHP 5, PP1.5.1beta and /images and /thumbnails are chmod'd 777.

Still it won't generate thumbnails, it uploads the photo, but no thumbnail.

Any idea what I can do, I've searched the forum and found people with similar problems, but not identical. Since I ain't running no auto resize script.

At first - which PHP 5?

Do you have GDlib with JPEG support?

I do have GD with jpeg support

I'm pretty clueless what's causing this. Path's are ok, same goes with permissions.

Also, another problem I have is that I can't schedule posts. They seem to appear when I post, even though I schedule it for future dates. edit: figured out why it displayed the photo, it was because I was admin. (great feature in fact :)
