Hi!
I've added some photos in my photoblog.
Then I saw an error in one of the photos and I didn't know what to do.
I removed the photo in admin panel and then I added it again with the same postdate as the photo I removed. Now the comments that were made for that photo before I removed it is lost. I know that the comments are connected with the old photos #number and when I added it again the same photo got a new #number. Is there a way to connect the old comments with my updated photo or are the comments lost?
Is there a easy way to exchange a posted photo if you notice an error with the posted one? With old comments left...

in 1.5 PixelPost is the option to re-upload an image
so it depends which version you have installed

Erik,

guess what you can do?

just note the name of the image which you want to re-upload

open the new version with a imageprocessing proc and make a thumbnail in the size of the thumbnails at your Pixelpost
name this "thumb_name-of-image-which-should-be-changed"

go with FTP to your server, to the Pixelpost directory
move to images
upload the new version with the name of the old one, so the old one is overwritten

move to the thumbnails folder, upload the thumbnail which you created there

if all this is too complicated, install the 1.5Beta or wait some short days and upgrade with 1.5Final ;=)

Thanx. I tried that first but the FTP prog said I couldn't exchange the photo so I assumed it had to do with the database, that it was locked for overwriting or so. Thats why I deleted it.
