I got the same problem with the Å Ä Ö like the person from Switzerland have.
But how can i fix the Swedish language file. The template file (s) sems to be fine.

By the way.. the rest and the upgrade went fine.

as we wrote some times:

open the language file in plain text editor
than change all special characters to HTML-encoding

with Notetab for example it is

MODIFY / Characters to HTML / extended character s

any texteditor which can modify special characters to HTML it will go

It works ÅÄÖ is showing on every photo right now, had to manualy go in to change som "chosen" names for the photos. But when i am uploding a new photo everything is OK with the ÅÄÖ :)

All over the place, åäö is f*ed up.

I suppose this is from the DB or something.

What can i do.

I have a few other bug reports but i'll post them in another thread.

characters of old posting or also characters of actual postings?

if also of actual postings, you should contact your hoster and discuss the standard codepage of MySQL with their support

Nope just old comments. And the hoster is me. And I said to my self that it's working fine =).

I can make a convert-comments-script for my self, but It would be great if others that cannot can have their comments converted on upgrade.

Ok I'll do that. Not that I have made any addons so far, but how hard can it be =)

I have to make a pixelpost-dev on the server first though.
where do I post the addon when it's done?

and you should announce and describe your Addon in the Addon-section so that the world knows about your new "baby"
