hi!
i'm a really new pixelpost-user, and i feel very glad that i found this pretty piece of code! very usefull!
i first installed some days before the 1.4.3 version, all went very easy and i did choose a theme / temlate named lightwighttwo.
today i installed the new one version 1-5rc1-1.
well, first all worked fine ... (oh yes - i'd read the upgrade-text ;-)
... till i looked at the admin / options:
i didn't see the possibility to change the template ...!
it looks for me like there is no button as like before in the older pixelpostversion or what ...?
after this little shock - my blog was allways running pretty! - unluckily i did open the options_php-file to look in it.
well, i didn't find, what i was looking for (not so much knowledge about php) and i did close the file and load it up again.
after that i recognized, when i klick the Options-button, there will not come up the Options-page anymore. huh! Oh shit, what have i done?!
hmm, did anybody understand, what i do write here?
auf deutsch wärs einfacher ;-)
thx
gute nacht und schönen sonntag!

Talk with Connie who is our dev team member about german language file translation.
I looks like there is the whole problem.

that is no problem with translation, it is a problem with open eyes!
well, even with german language-file the button to change the template is there
but: as you might see, not everything is in one option page anymore
there is a menu line which shows up like this, at the top of the screen:
"ALLGEMEIN TEMPLATE THUMBNAILS SPAM KONTROLLE"
see the image:
http://www.bildgier.de/bilder/augenauf/1.jpg
if you click on TEMPLATE, you will find the options:
TEMPLATE-AUSWAHL DATUMSFORMAT FORMAT DER KATEGORIE-LINKS etc.
see the image:

there is no need at all to edit the options.php! Finger weg! ;=)
There is the need to read the screen! Augen auf! ;=)
so I think you must re-upload the options.php to your webserver, take a cup of coffee and check again!
ich weiß, es ist Sonntag und früh am morgen ;=)

hehe. what do 'Finger weg!' and 'Augen auf! ' mean?
'Augen auf! ' means (I can be wrong) "Open eyes!" and this second something with road?

']hehe. what do 'Finger weg!' and 'Augen auf! ' mean?
finger weg means don't touch
augen auf means open your eyes (in this case look better to your screen) :-)

so far ... ;-)
well, i did it again - now by clean install and all works pretty good now!
short review of this trouble i had - if someone interested:
i don't know, what's the fault would has been before.
possibliy it was the circumstance, that i did try to save my data by the way renaming the "old" folders within the pixelpost1.4.3-folder to keep and wouldn't have overwritten them and did upload the new one folders with the 1.5 version in this pixelpost-folder then.
i watched the following installation did manage old and new files by its own rule as it seems and i did wonder a little bit if or that there has been something unexpectedly moved ...
afterwords the above reported problems occured.
and, i will repeat. there didn't appeared the "window" with the options, it would not has been something with my eyes, i'm sorry ;-) - should has been more the circumstance of my own and special filehandling ... perhaps?
but i understand that something like this is unpredictable and unexpected for anyone.
in hope to "repair" this mess, i thought now it may be usefull to delete the database of the previous install. but it was a mistake to assume that this should help: no success. ;-(
and so i did it all again by clean installing the 1-5rc1-1.
All went good, as said and i'm happy to use from now on these pretty good new extensions of pixelpost. fine!
thanks for comments, thanks for help
have a good time
best regards
Clemens
