German Umlauts problem and feedback for upgrade fr 1.4.3. to 1.5RC1.1

The Upgrade from 1.4.3 to 1.5RC1.1 worked just fine and without problems duringt the installation. Gratulation and thanks for the new version!

Currently here my feedback:

I am having now a problem with the German Umlauts on my page (http://www.foto.ttlive.de/index.php?showimage=189) (title and description) and my comments (http://www.foto.ttlive.de/index.php?popup=comment&showimage=184).
How can I fix it without a manual correction in all pages and comments?

I found also a little spelling error or an forgotten word in the "general info" section

please take care that when you enter or edit postings in Pixelpost,

the browser should be set to "detect charset/codepage" automatically or
choose "UTF-8" as browser codepage/charset

if you have your browser set to 8859-1 or other charset and PP takes the entries as UTF-8, you will run into this trouble

it is not problem of german umlauts, it is problem of unsynchroneous entering and storing of data
and we are proud that we store everything in UTF-8 ;=)

Thanks.. after I changed the browser setting as you recomendet and nothing changed, I took a lock in the source code of the page and it seams it might be now a database problem, because in the source code is als shown the wrong umlaut

those entries which are already in the database should be cleaned
you can do that with editing the entries again in the admin section

after that I am sure you are on the right side
