Pixelpost is really turning out great. With all of the additions that are being created by some very talented people (you know who you are), Pixelpost has the potential to turn in the premier photoblog application. If you were to ask me what should be made next I would have to say multiple categories. It is not only because it is what I would want next for my site, but it could lead to many other things, like the ability to do a search, exclusion of categories to facilitate the creation of “best of pages”. Plus I am sure that applying multiple categories is just something that allot of people would like. I know that this issue has come up before, but, in my humble opinion, I believe that it would be the next step

have a quick look.

Everything is working except the ability to click on a specific category on main image page and get just those categories to come up..

Also, the counts on the "browse photos" page aren't exactly right. Those numbers match the default category each photo has attached to it.

Ok, it should all be working.

Take a look. I'd love any feedback before I post all the instructions!

Me Likey. I checked it out on your site and I think that it is definatly a winner. Hope that it was not too difficult to implement. I have my category link in my comment_template, will it work there or will it only work right now in image_template. How soon do you think you will be able to release it. Very exciting.

Does anyone know if this add-on was completed? I would love to do this on our site?

multiple categories is built into pixelpost now...its not an "addon" or hack anymore...there is search function like the 1st post here mentions and I dont really see the need for one at this point in my opinion...but the multiple cats are present in pixelpost 1.4.x

is that what we are talking about?

I made a mistake and confused this thread with another one. When I visited Mark's site, I saw that his categories page has:

a) thumbnails with title and date organized in a table

and

b) only thumbnails for the current month showing

Do either of these options require an add-on, or can I do this just by changing my template?

I'll look for the thread that was talking about "a" above, but I could really use help with "b", too.

Thanks.

hey, yeah, i made some custom changes to my broswe page in "index.php" to just do a search for all my photos for that specific month.

Do you need the code?

give me your mod. I like to integrate it into the cvs version. right now in cvs version you can browse images by pages ans specify the number of photos shown in each page as well. (like google search).

Mark,
I just sent you a personal message and then I saw your reply here. Yes, I'd love to have the code if it works with version 1-4 of Pixelpost. Or if Raminia can transform it into an add-on that would be great. I imagine there would be great interest in displaying images that way.

Raminia,
Please let me/us know if you are going to work on this. If so, I may wait for your integrated version (if it's coming soon).

Thanks. Andy

Andy,

Ramin is on holiday for a month, so waiting will take long
