I recently had a business trip to Hawaii (lucky me!) and managed to squeeze
in some time for some shooting. I'm looking for some feedback/comments:

Really like the reflection and the sky in the first shot, I think it would look great in black and white as well. I really like the secound shot too, the curve leads eye through the shot really nicely, only thing is a bit crooked horizon, and tha pole on the beach. Third shot is nice, nice colors and tone. Last one is my favorite, great rainbow and awesome landscape. Nice shooting.

279 looks like a cracking scene but i just think there is a bit too much foreground in it.

I agree about 279. I wish I could have gotten closer and eliminated the
scrub in the foreground, but it was a rather steep dropoff from where
I was standing. If I had zoomed in past the bushes, I wouldn't have
framed the entire rainbow. Plus, they don't very long, so I had to make
the best of where I was at the time. There are some other views
of the same day at the link below, some of which have a cleaner view
of the canyon and rainbow.
