install issue

I installed a single verison of pixelPost on my server, then installed another one using different table prefixes for the database. now, the admin tool crapped out when i installed the 2nd version. here's the error i get...

Error: Error on rename of '.\troutmansql\pixelpostprotected_config.MYI' to '.\troutmansql\#sql2-4ac-2471.MYI' (Errcode: 13)


my first instance of pixelPost still seems to work ok.


any ideas?

please be more exact and give us the information from the admin info section

did you really install in separate directories?

It looks like permissions error.

ok, i go to the admin url (to install the pixelpost photo blog). i don't even get a login prompt since the first install failed. all i see now is:

STEP 1: Prepare database upgrade
This will update the database tables that are needed for this version of Pixelpost and add needed tables to support the new features. Press the Upgrade button to continue.

when i press the "upgrade" button, i see this:
Wowzers - check out how everything is working! (hopefully)
Error: Error on rename of '.\troutmansql\pixelpostprotected_config.MYI' to '.\troutmansql\#sql2-4ac-2c2a.MYI' (Errcode: 13)

i have deleted my new installation and re-uploaded things, and i still see the same scenario.

Please tell us how?? Did you set up your DB one more time??
