I'm not sure if it is something that I've changed either in one of the files, or some settings within admin, but I have been installed a bunch of templates testing their looks; then all of a sudden, the photos I uploaded became pixelised as seen in the attached photo. Photos uploaded before that are ok. I've tested with photos of big and small sizes and the result is the same.

does anyone have any clue what I might have changed while installed all those templates?

thanks a lot and I hope somebody can help. I'm an absolute PixelPost newbie.

alright. well all i can say is that pixelpost doesn't change your images in anyway. it only ever touches the thumbnails which it makes but unless you have any addons installed which do, pixelpost won't affect your images.

ie, your images are probably like that before you upload them. what is your general photo workflow? what do you save with etc?

thanks, but my photos are surely okay because they have been posted at other sites before. Like you suggested, I think I'll focus on checking some of the addons I installed with the templates. If you have other clues please let me know.

Much thanks.

there are some problems with your installation
the archive does not show anything at all

the images are 600x400 but some are only 7k

p1070818.jpg <= you don't use timestamps, do you?

did you really upload the images manually or using copyfolder add on?

this is very very strange

can you please try and upload the image which I added as an attach and which you can see online at

http://www.bildgier.de/bilder/ankeraus.jpg

so we can compare

THANKS Connie,

No, I didn't use timestamps and I upload the images one by one.

I have done as you suggested, uploaded the image u provided and the result is still the same.

Hope you'll have some clue.

thanks again

I forgot to ask if the problem is the same with all templates... sorry, sometimes some questions don't come up...

I was stunned as well, because I never saw this effect...

glad it is gone
