Hey together, I installed Pixelpost additional to Wordpress, configured it and loaded up my images. Then I tried to change the URL to an subdomain (iso400.felixbeck.de instead of felixbeck.de/iso400). That did not work pretty, so I changed it back. Today i wanted to load up a new picture, but Pixelpost gives me an error:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(http://felixbeck.de/iso400/images/20060531180601_100_6945.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP wrapper does not support writeable connections. in /home/felixbec/public_html/iso400/admin/new_image.php on line 182

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpqoedRF' to 'http://felixbeck.de/iso400/images/20060531180601_100_6945.jpg' in /home/felixbec/public_html/iso400/admin/new_image.php on line 182

Error
Something's wrong in file upload!

On the General Info page there's also something strange:
Guessed imagepath: /home/felixbec/public_html/iso400/images/

Configured Imagepath: http://felixbeck.de/iso400/images/

Image Directory: Does Not Exist (should be http://felixbeck.de/iso400/images) - Thumbnails folder not writable! You must set correct permissions on this folder or you will not be able to upload any images.
Set the folder to chmod 777 (read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and world).

Thumbnails Directory: Does Not Exist (should be http://felixbeck.de/iso400/thumbnails) -

Language Directory: Does Not Exist (should be http://felixbeck.de/iso400/language)

Addons Directory: Does Not Exist (should be http://felixbeck.de/iso400/addons)

Includes Directory: Does Not Exist (should be http://felixbeck.de/iso400/includes)

Templates Directory: Does Not Exist (should be http://felixbeck.de/iso400/templates)

I checked that paths, but all exist and image/thumbnail folder got an chmod777. What did i wrong? Is there a need for a complete new installation? I don't want to configure the hole thing again...

Thank you!
Greetings from South-Germany,

Oh, I forgot to say that the frontend works correctly, all Thumbnails and Images are shown.

Felix,

read the output:
failed to open stream: HTTP wrapper does not support writeable connections. in /home/felixbec/publi

a HTTP-wrapper is part of the host configuration. So ask your hoster what they allow and what not

there are some restrictions and that's why PP is failing

viel Glück,

Connie

I reinstalled PP and after importing the images again, everthing seems to be all right... Thanks to my basic knowlegde in PHP and mySQL/phpMyAdmin, Pixelpost now runs like I want it to.
If the error is occurring again I will make some Radau at my hosters door....
Dankeschön!
