I signed up with a host service today, and set about installing Pixelpost.
I get to the point where I have to access the install.php address and I get stopped cold.
"Unknown MySQL server host"
How can I fix this?

you MUST enter the data which you got from your hoster in the file
pixelpost.php in the folder includes and upload that to your webspace
how can pixelpost know your database name, username and password???
read the informations here in the forum, there is an extra section for beginners and read the information which you get with Pixelpost, there are readmefiles and a special folder, called /doc which contains what you must know

I will re-read the documents in question. However, I did enter in the hostname, user ID and password as instructed. As for hostname, I cannot use name: "localhost", could that be the problem?

why can't you use localhost? is your database in a remote location? - if so put that location in.
