I updated to version 1.5 last night with the Akismet addon.

I usually future post my images which until now has worked perfectly but with the update it doesn't seem to be listening to what I'm telling it. I currently have my daily image for tomorrow set to come up on 6-02-06 at 00:00:08 but its currently up as if I posted it to be immediately posted. My GMT is set correctly to -7hours for Arizona. What else could be wrong?

Ok well nevermind, apparently v1.5 allows the admin computer to see what was future posted? All my other computers show the current days image except the one I uploaded from. Can someone confirm if this is a new feature?

Ok well now its back to the correct picture for today. I'm dumbfounded. Is it a problem with my database or does 1.5 have a half hour preview of future images? I apologize for all this I'm just a bit confused.

one new feature of v1.5 is that logging in as admin allows you to preview future posts. when you log out you see what everyone else sees--only the published posts. it's not dependent on the machine you're using, this will happen whenever you're logged in as admin.

it's a little confusing, i know--a search of the forums shows that this threw quite a few people off at first.

cheers :)

Hmm thanks for the response. I tried searching but wasn't sure exactly what to search so I came up empty. Thanks for the explanation though I appreciate it.

Is there any way to make this user configurable? I'd prefer to see what everyone else is seeing but remain logged in as an admin.

at the moment, no the user does not have an option. we are looking more into a preview feature for versions down the road, rather that in displaying right away.
